DAI-ICHI LIFE
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

To help build a sustainable society and continue to meet the expectations of customers, society, and employees, we have adopted the following corporate action principles (“DSR Charter”). “DSR” stands for “Dai-ichi’s Social Responsibility”, a unique framework to continually improve our social responsibilities to all stakeholders.

We at Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar, as part of the Dai-ichi Life Group, have pledged a series of CSR projects since we have started our operations in Myanmar. These projects include providing educational aids and learning programs for the Child Development Centre Dream Train, as well as offering medical assistance to the community in Southern Shan State, which is managed by the Japan Heart Association.

And we have also established the “Dai-ichi People First Fund” followed by “DSR Yan Pone Ngwe” to provide additional financial protection to customers during the Covid-19 pandemic. In response to Covid developments, Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar has also taken multiple responsible actions through donating face masks and hand sanitizers for Myanmar Community.

Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar is grateful to have been able to provide customers and their loved ones protecting their health and well-being through the DSR activities.  We will continue to aid the community and continue to consider all possible ways to provide customers with additional support as required.
