Biography
Mr. Takahama is Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar Ltd., and he manages HR, Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Control, Corporate Planning, Finance, Accounting, Actuarial and Product Development.
Mr. Takahama joined Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company Limited in 1996 and held positions of increasing responsibilities in Japan, Vietnam, and Singapore, including Director and Chief Financial Officer of Dai-ichi Life Group based in Singapore where he led the finance and actuarial functions of business units in six countries across the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to his appointment at Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar Ltd., he has held various senior positions in diverse roles and functions covering sales, corporate and investment planning, international business management and profit management at various country operations, Dai-ichi’s Group and regional office. His leadership and guidance were instrumental in the acquisition and set up of Dai-ichi Life Vietnam and business readiness of Dai-ichi Life Insurance Cambodia.
Mr. Takahama holds an undergraduate degree in Engineering from the University of Tokyo, with Certifications in Financial Planning, Internal Controls Management, Tax, Securities, Finance and Total Life Consultancy.
